Education: B.A. Elementary Education from The University of Alabama in Huntsville (Go Chargers!)

Biography: Hi! My name is Brittany McCoy! I am very excited to be a member of the 5th grade team this year. This school year is my first year as a full-time educator. Last year I worked within the Huntsville City School System as I worked to complete my bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (Go Chargers!). There I developed a passion for fostering a love of learning in all students. I believe in creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. Outside of the classroom, I spend most of my free time at racetracks all over the southeast. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Teaching Philosophy: I am committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning experience that caters to the unique needs of each student. I strive to employ a variety of teaching strategies to ensure that all students can succeed and thrive academically. I believe that teaching is all about relationships and good teachers make their students feel seen.
