Biography
Ms. Cooley is happy to teach 5th grade. This is her 30th year of teaching, and she is excited to teach at Evelyn D. Houston Elementary School. Go TIGERS!
Ms. Cooley is blessed to have two darling daughters, both graduates of the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL. Miss Sydni Aaliyah and Miss Skyla Alexus currently attend Cumberland School of Law. They are indeed gifts from God!
Ms. Cooley and her girls are HUGE Alabama Fans! Roll Tide!
She and her daughters are Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated members. In her spare time, she loves shopping, traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with her family, sorority sisters, and friends.
Philosophy of Education
Ms. Cooley believes children are like diamonds who come to her from polished and unpolished backgrounds, ready to learn and master skills that will make them jewels for life. What she and educators do with them will determine whether they will glitter or end up as diamonds in the rough.
